Books

You already know I love to travel, but my first love is reading. A few of my favorites as a kid were A Wrinkle in Time, and From the Mixed-up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. Then I got to middle school, and from there on it was mostly historical romance novels, with the occasional history thrown in. I went from The Rogue and the Runaway to Infamy: Pearl Harbor and It’s Aftermath. I read both of those in eighth grade. One spring break in college I read A World Restored: Metternich, Castlereagh and the Problems of Peace, by Henry Kissinger. Yeah, I was a real party animal back then.

I’ll be posting book reviews here on some of my favorite books I have read while traveling. Fair warning, I have what one might call eclectic taste in books, if one was being generous.

Boston to the Bahamas, via Munich?
